The quality of supply is a key factor for a wide range of critical energy users. The ability to capture and report quality events and trends is important in maximising the efficiency of the process and the lifetime of the assets. A single out of limit voltage dip event can have a significant effect on plant and equipment with inherent cost penalties.

Sub.net continuously monitors, analyses and reports –

  • Voltage dips & swells
  • Voltage interruptions
  • Magnitude of the supply voltage and current
  • Transient over voltages
  • Rapid voltage changes
  • Voltage and current harmonics (IEC 61000-4-7)
  • Flicker (IEC 61000-4-15)
  • Voltage and current unbalance
  • Power frequency variations

Measurements are made to IEC 61000-4-30 and reports can include comparisons with standards like ITIC, EN50160 and G5/4. Every cycle is measured and data are aggregated into 10 minute values for reporting. Flicker reports also include the 2 hour (Plt) values.

The system is flexible so new and updated limit standards can be uploaded and integrated easily.
